This true ‘Bridechilla’ should give lessons on how to be the perfect bride! Not only was she gorgeous, she was calm and organized all through the excitement of planning this amazing event to marry the one she loves. Twisted Willow Farm, a spectacular place surrounded by vineyards + an organic farm in the Napa Valley and offered exclusively through Off the Beaten Path Weddings, was the perfect venue for these two down to earth love birds.
Dan & Natalie Watson of Watson Studios did an amazing job of capturing the beauty of the bride and groom as well as all the venue had to offer.
Bridechilla wear :: Alternative apparel 100% cotton,
eco-sensitive chill wear, a little edgy with a lot of style!
URBAN DICTIONARY DEFINITION – A bridechilla remains easy going, relaxed and down to earth during her entire wedding experience. She is not defined by her wedding day but by the experience of being with those that she cares most about. THE “unzilla”
I love everything Mary Ellen Murphy dreams up (she’s also the creative brains behind Off The Beaten Path Weddings) this is her latest ingenious endeavor. Gorgeous photos by onelove photographer Julie Hanna. Scrumptious & beautiful custom cupcakes by Heidi Hebein, freelance pastry chef/baker. Enjoy the pics then order some goodies for a bridechilla in your life!
….and lastly, a little behind the scenes fun shot!

This wedding was an absolutely gorgeous production facilitated by Leah Bertoli of Bertoli Bridal & Design. The venue alone is amazing but Leah and her team really outdid themselves, from the custom lighting to the one of a kind floral arrangements, not a detail was spared. It was stunning!
And speaking of stunning… this sweet bride and her entire bridal party of dentists were just that!
Sara and I designed a look for her makeup that was appropriately glamorous and highlighted her natural beauty. Lauren Kelsay tied the look together seamlessly with Sara’s hair in a beautiful updo with lots of volume and style. Sara was a true beauty!

I had the pleasure of working with this gorgeous bride for her summer wedding in Sonoma. There was very little I needed to do to transform Miranda from her beautiful everyday self into a blushing bride. Together we created a look that felt very natural, the focus on her glowing skin and fresh pink cheek. Her hair has beautiful natural curl which we enhanced and pinned up just slightly to frame her face. The end result was absolutely stunning and flowed very naturally with the rest of the event.
The beautiful photos are the work of Jill Doherty Photography. Jill did a great job capturing the Miranda and Nick, their quiet excitement and overflowing love for each other.
This bride was so fun! She had an idea of what she wanted from the moment we started together and I just love the way her look evolved.
I called her my purple girl! She loved purple eye shadow and knew right away that’s the look she wanted to rock on her big day. We found the purple-est purple I had and created the rest of her look around it! A fresh finish in her foundation and sweet pink on her cheeks balanced out the eyes perfectly. Lashes popped and lips that that mimicked her cheeks, this gorgeous bride was ready to get hitched!
Inspired by the Wine Blogger’s Conference going on this weekend I’m offering a new treatment! Wine bloggers and writers and industry leaders from around the world will grace us with their presence this weekend to drink wine, talk about wine, drink wine, and drink some more wine. In the event that any of you winos are looking to experience some of what else our fantastic little area has to offer, might I suggest a Pumpkin Wine Enzyme Facial with yours truly! It has the word ‘wine’ in it so you can still count it in as a write off, plus you’ll leave Sonoma County glowing brighter than you did when you arrived!
I don’t know much about wine, except of course how to drink it… but I know plenty about skin. And a Pumpkin Wine Enzyme Facial is the perfect way to finish off your trip to Sonoma County’s Wine Country. A great anti-aging treatment for skin of all types, the Pumpkin Wine treatment provides antioxidant, nutritive, and exfoliating properties for your skin. A fruit-acid enzyme which is applied like a masque, accelerates exfoliation, provides powerful antioxidants to your skin, and substitutes as a mild form of retinoic acid, it is a great option for those who are in need of some hearty exfoliation without using a chemical peel. Your skin will feel rejuvenated and vibrant. And you can go back to drinking wine as soon as we’re done :-)
