This wedding was an absolutely gorgeous production facilitated by Leah Bertoli of Bertoli Bridal & Design. The venue alone is amazing but Leah and her team really outdid themselves,  from the custom  lighting to the one of a kind floral arrangements, not a detail was spared. It was stunning!
And speaking of stunning… this sweet bride and her entire bridal party of dentists were just that!

Sara and I designed a look for her makeup that was appropriately glamorous and highlighted her natural beauty. Lauren Kelsay tied the look together seamlessly with Sara’s hair in a beautiful updo with lots of volume and style. Sara was a true beauty!

I had the pleasure of working with this gorgeous bride for her summer wedding in Sonoma. There was very little I needed to do to transform Miranda from her beautiful everyday self into a blushing bride. Together we created a look that felt very natural, the focus on her glowing skin and fresh pink cheek. Her hair has beautiful natural curl which we enhanced and pinned up just slightly to frame her face. The end result was absolutely stunning and flowed very naturally with the rest of the event.

The beautiful photos are the work of Jill Doherty Photography. Jill did a great job capturing the Miranda and Nick, their quiet excitement and overflowing love for each other.

We are halfway through our 2011 wedding season bookings and I am waiting (not so) patiently for the photos from brides filter in. When I leave the bride on her wedding day it is long before the big event starts, often even before she gets into her dress. The bridal party donned with gorgeous hair and makeup in their jammies, the bride scurrying around to finish up details in her complete bridal look (sometimes even the veil!) in her rhinestone studded bathrobe. So it is easy to imagine how anxious I get to see how it all came together once the gowns went on, the violins began playing, and the groom waited for his bride at the end of the aisle.

So wait, wait, patiently wait I will…. In the meantime, here are a few super sweet reviews from brides this season.
